The project aimed to promote diversity, inclusion, and intercultural learning by using theatre as a creative tool to challenge prejudice and hate speech. Over eight days of intensive workshops, participants engaged in drama exercises, storytelling sessions, and skill-building activities on scriptwriting, voice and diction, body language, and stage use.
Our final performance marked the culmination of the Erasmus+ project “Tell a Story, Make it History”, where participants from eight countries came together to transform legends, tales, and cultural stories into theatrical art. The project aimed to promote diversity, inclusion, and intercultural learning by using theatre as a creative tool to challenge prejudice and hate speech. Over eight days of intensive workshops, participants engaged in drama exercises, storytelling sessions, and skill-building activities on scriptwriting, voice and diction, body language, and stage use.
Each country prepared and performed a scene based on its own cultural heritage, while also collaborating on a shared script for the grand finale. The final performance combined all these elements into a vibrant stage production, where music, acting, and cultural symbols blended seamlessly. The event was open to the public and served as a powerful message of unity, empathy, and cooperation. It was not only a celebration of the stories themselves, but also of the friendships, understanding, and shared experiences built during the project. The audience witnessed how theatre can bridge cultures, giving voice to diverse identities while creating a common stage for hope and connection.
